Bear Lake and Wedding Shower

The last few weeks we have been very busy with summer activities! We went to Bear Lake last saturday and spent all day on the boat. The girls had a great time and we tried to catch fish all day. We didn't catch any thing except a sunburn, but we had a great time.

This weekend we had a bridal shower for my niece Cassie. The girls helped me and we had fun. One of the things we did was make wedding dresses out of toilet paper. The girls were the models and they looked so cute. We are excited for Cassie's wedding, Sierra gets to be the flower girl and Bailey is one of the Brides Maids!

The 4th of July!

I am so happy to live in this wonderful country with all of the freedom's we are able to enjoy. I was just helping my girls study for Hunter's Ed and the thought occured to me, we have the freedom to do things like hunting and owning guns because we are so blessed to live in a country where those things are made possible for us. I have loved being able to enjoy my family over this holiday and contemplate all the things that we enjoy. Happy 4th to everyone!!!!

This is an old picture, but one of my Favorites!

State Tumbling Meet!

This weekend was Bailey's state tumbling meet.  She did so well!!  This was her best competition yet (she must have been saving it all for state).  She took 1st in Double Mini, 2nd in Trampoline, and tied for 3rd in Floor.  She was awesome!  For Grandpa Tom I am going to post all of her passes here.  Hope everyone enjoys.  We did have a few technical difficulties--we cannot go out on the floor so we have a few people who got in the way of the video camera sometimes.

1st on Double Mini

2nd on Tramp

3rd on Floor

Easter!

I was not feeling well on Easter, but that did not stop us from having some Easter fun!
Charlie hid eggs in the backyard for the girls, 10 for Bailey and 10 for Sierra.  They had a great time looking for them.

I think Bailey was REALLY excited!

Bailey was nearly done finding her eggs and Sierra had just found on in the Iris plant where it had been hiding, along with something else!!!  A garter snake darted out righ by her feet.  She really did not love that, and did not want to finish hunting for her eggs even after her dad took care of the snake and his little friend that came with him!!

This is how she finished finding the rest of her eggs.  Bailey is such a great sister! (she is also the bravest one of all of us--nobody likes snakes at our house!)

March Competition

It looks like the only exciting thing we do right now is go to tumbling competitions--well that is about it!
Bailey had another competition yesterday and she did so good.  She was less nervous for this one by far!!!  She got 2nd place in Trampoline, so I am posting both her routinues because they were so great!!!  We are so very proud of her and all of her hard work she puts in to practice for competition.

Here she is getting her tramp medal.  She is such a cutie!

Oh yes, we do have another daughter--hope Sierra is not feeling neglected!  Here she is watching the tumbling competition!!!

Ski Day!

Thanks to President's day the girls had the day off of school.  So we decided to hit the slopes (so did most of the rest of Cache Valley).  It was a beautiful day and the kids had a wonderful time.  This was only Sierra's second time on skis and she did a great job!  I was so impressed with her skills.  Although she kept telling me to go faster because she liked to go fast and didn't like to wait for me.  Bailey was able to take her friend with her and they had a blast snowboarding.  All in all it was a great day--new snow, sunny, and not too cold!
