First Day of School

The girls started school today.
Sierra says it was Awesome and her teacher is Awesome.
Bailey says it was the worst, I HATE school.
I really think that deep down inside she liked it and had fun seeing her friends.
Here are their pictures!!

Ready for School

The girls both got new hair do's yesterday and Bailey got her Braces off today!!!  We are now ready for the new school year.  Charlie's mom surprised Bailey yesterday for her birthday by taking her to get highlights and a hair cut.  She was so excited and very surprised!
They both look really cute and are excited to start school on Thursday.

I had to add a picture of Roxy as well.  She is getting so big!  She is five months old and she is about 40 lbs. She gets to start Puppy Obedience School in one week.  I think she is excited!!!

Roxy the Boxer

At the end of May we brought home our new boxer puppy and named her Roxy.  She is so much fun and really cute.  She is also naughty!  She loves to try to play with Kobi, and he tolerates her.  She runs around and acts like a lunatic.  She loves to play with all of her toys and eats A LOT of food.  She has grown so much.  We took her to the vet the first week we had her and she weighed 13 pounds, three weeks later she was just under 20 and is about 25 now.  She is growing up so fast!!!  She really likes to bite right now, but we are hoping that will soon pass.  Here are some pictures of her cuteness!

Happy 4th of July!

We went to Bear Lake yesterday with our friends, we have done this a number of times on the 4th over the years.  We always go to North Beach and let the kids play all day!  It was great.  We grilled hot dogs and sat in the sun all day long.  The kids had a great time and we only had one casualty--a frisbee sank and could not be recovered.  We took our nephew, Curtis, with us and I think everyone had a great time.  I, of course, forgot the camera so I found a picture of Bear Lake online to share.  We are greatful to have the day to celebrate all we have because of the Freedom we all enjoy.  Hope everyone had a wonderful day!

State Tumbling Meet

Bailey had her state tumbling meet on Friday, and she did AWESOME!! We are so proud of her and all of her hard work.  She did great on all of her passed and had good landings.  She got 5th on Trampoline, 4th on Double Mini, and 12th on Floor.  She got qualifying scores on Double Mini and Tumbling for Nationals!  We love her so much!!  And her little sis was awesome for sitting through all the meets this year, with minimal complaining!  Here are the videos of all her passes, you can hear me yelling in the background, so you might want to turn the volume down!!  = )

I had to post a link to the videos.  I can't get them to upload.  I hope this works!!

Easter

The Easter bunny found us this year, and the girls were excited for their day.  I got them each a new skirt for Easter, and the bunny brought them PJ's and flip-flops.  They also got candy, of course.  Their Dad and I hid some eggs for them after church and they had a good time trying to find them.

Skiing the Beav

We all got three day passes to the Beav this year for Christmas, so we were able to head up a few times as a family to ski this year.  We had a great time, and the girls are getting to be really good.  Sierra just learned to ski last year and most of the time she is faster than I am.  Bailey is working really hard on her Snowboarding skills, and is getting better every time we go.

Fishing

Charlie has gone Salmon fishing twice this Spring and he was successful both times.  They had a great time each time and were able to catch a few fish in the process.

Tumbing Season

Bailey has had 2 tumbling meets already, one in February and one in March.  She is getting ready for the State meet in Heber City this weekend.  She has been working so hard and has improved so much over this season.  I may be a little biased, but she is just so good at tumbling and loves it so much.  We are so proud of all her hard work, and how great she has done at her competitions.  Good luck at State this weekend Bailey!!!!

Grandpa Tom turns 60!

In February my dad turned 60, he has always hated his birthday and doesn't like to celebrate or let anyone know it is his birthday.  So after a lot of thought we decided we would just surprise him with a party as a family.  Brook had invited him to go bowling with her kids for his big day, because the kids had been wanting to go bowling for a long time.  Honestly I don't think we had ever been bowling with the old man, ever.  Well my family drove up to the Burg that day without him knowing, so he thought he was just meeting her family at the bowling alley.  When he and my mom got there we were hiding from him, and I walked up behind him as they were paying to ask if we could join them.  The look on his face was one I will never forget!  He was so surprised, and he is a hard one to surprise.  He was just so excited and kept asking me how long we had been there and how long we had been planning the whole thing.  Needless to say I think it was his best b-day ever.  My mom and sister had found a ton of old pictures of him from growing up and we made him a book and slide show of all of them.  We also made him a book with pictures of him and the grandkids, which he loved.  And Brook found a cute idea of a collage of pictures with all the kids holding up a sign with the reason they love Grandpa.  Maybe now he will like his b-day a little more...

Grandpa and all the Grandkids!

Tumbling Meet

Bailey had her first meet of the year and it was in Logan, finally!
My family came from Rexburg to see her compete and Charlie and I helped out at the meet.  She did really well for her first meet and wasn't nervous at all.  We can't wait for the next meet in February!

Thanks to Aunt Brook we have some pics of the day.
