Christmas!

We had a great time on Christmas at our house! Bailey woke up at 3am and wanted us to get up so that we could open presents, we held her off until 4am when she woke up her sister and they both wanted us to get up. They held off until 5 when we finally gave up and got up so they could see what they got. There are only a few pictures due to the fact that we were so tired! But they had a great time and let us go back to bed as soon as the presents were open. They got to go on a scavenger hunt at 8 that morning to find out what their final present of the morning was. The big surprise was that we are taking them to Disneyland in March. They were so excited and can hardly wait to go!

Here are some pictures of the big day and a couple from the next day when we went to Rexburg and opened presents with their cousins.

Mexico!!!

Charlie and I went to Mexico the first week in December. I haven't gotten around to posting any pictures, but I have been asked about them a lot. So here they are. We went to Cabo and stayed there for a week with some friends. We spent a lot of time in the sunshine and on the beach. Charlie and the guys got to go fishing and they caught 2 yellow fin tuna and a 107 lb marlin. We had a great, relaxing time and it was fun to get away. We went to some of the hotspots in Cabo and ate some really good authentic Mexican food. It was so good we want to go to the local taco bus for some more. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Santa!

The girls got to see Santa at the mall on Saturday, I was a little unprepared so all I have is a picture that I took with my phone. But they were excited. Sierra didn't want to talk to him and we had to bribe her to even stand by Bailey for the picture, but at least we got the picture. They are both really excited for Christmas and get to have 2 weeks off of school, I am not sure which they are more excited about.

Thankful

We are thankful for many things as a family, I feel like we are truly blessed. Sad to say that it does take a holiday such as Thanksgiving to bring those thoughts to the front of our minds. I will start with Sierra, she wrote a note to the family of what she was thankful for and she said,"Thank you for buying clothes for me and making dinner for me and spending time with me." She is so sweet! Bailey is thankful for her family, her friends, and her home. Charlie is thankful for his family, and being able to go hunting. And I am thankful for both of our families. They love us and help us out so much! What would we do without them. I am thankful for our three new nephews and the true blessings that miracles that they are. I love my nieces and nephews so much, I just can't spend enough time with them--they grow up too quickly. We are grateful for our lovely home to keep us safe, and a wonderful neighborhood to feel safe in. We are grateful for good places to work, so that we have hope in this unstable economy. Most of all we are grateful for two beautiful, wonderful children (that we only want to give away about once a week). What would life be like without them to share it with.
In this holiday season we would like to wish everyone all the love, hope, and happiness in the world! We love you all!

Happy Birthday Sierra!!!!!!!

It is Sierra's Birthday today--she is 7 years old. I can't believe how big she is. I still remember the day she was born like it was yesterday. She has been so excited for this birthday, she has been counting down the days for two weeks. She got up early before dad left so that she could open a present. She was supposed to just open one, but she sweet talked dad into opening just one more. She and Bailey made a tower of presents so that she could see them all. She is going to have a bowling birthday party this afternoon and is very excited for all of her friends to go bowling with her. Here are some pictures of the big morning.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!

The girls had a great night tonight. They looked cute in their costumes, and got a load of candy from the neighbors. We had fun walking around the neighborhood trick or treating. It was a really nice night and we didn't even have to wear coats to walk the neighborhood. We also had fun carving our pumpkins last night. The girls each drew their faces on the pumpkins and then daddy carved them to their specifications.

Sierra's Triplets

Sierra is the proud mother of Triplet Girls (of course). Their names are Lily, Mylie, and Nicole (L, M, N, instead of A, B, C). She takes very good care of them. Every night before I can tuck her in she has to bathe them and feed all of them. Last night they all ate really well, so she got to be early. But she says it is a lot of work. She gets them ready for bed and tucks them in and then lays out their outfits for the next night. Thanks Aunt Brook for teaching us how to take care of triplets!!

Crazy Hair Day!

The girls both had crazy hair day this week at school. Sierra's class had a vote for who's hair was the craziest and she won!! We only got a picture on my phone of Bailey's hair--it bothered her so much that she took it out when she got home. So here are the pictures of their CRAZY hair!!!

Fisher Woman

Bailey went fishing with the boys yesterday. (Charlie, Jerry, Grandpa, and Curtis) They only caught one fish the whole time, and guess who caught it? That's right it was Bailey. She LOVES to go fishing and I think it is great that she caught the only fish of the day. Charlie said that she reeled it in all by herself and everything. What a great fisher woman!!! This picture was taken another day, but once again she was catching all the fish.

First Day of School!!

Today was the first day of school for the girls. They were so excited! Sierra gets to go all day long--she thinks that is pretty cool. She said her favorite part of the day today was recess. (of course) Bailey is a big 5th grader, and she is excited for her teacher Mr. Pugmire. They have a classroom turtle that they get to play with and she has a few friends that are in her class. Her favorite part of the day was playing with the turtle, Snappy. They are getting so big, I just can't believe that I have a 1st grader and a 5th grader.

Lagoon!!!!

We went to Lagoon this weekend. The girls had so much fuN! Sierra went on 16 rides and Bailey we on 18 rides. But it was a blast!!!! Bailey's favorite ride was the Wicked, and Sierra's favorite was the Bat. Bailey went on all the big rides with Dad and Sierra and Mom (the wimp) went on all the other rides. Everyone had a blast. We spent the night and then got to go see Aunt Brook and Uncle Matt's triplet babies and Paige and Kayla. It was a fun filled weekend, and Bailey even got to climb the rock wall at Dick's Sporting Goods at the Gateway. She was so good--she climbed straight up to the top in no time.

Lost Tooth!!!

Sierra lost her tooth last week. She was really excited--we have been waiting a long time for this tooth to come out. The tooth fairy made a visit to out house and brought Sierra a dollar for her tooth! Now she is ready to loose another tooth so that she can get more money!

Here is a cute picture of her minus one tooth.

Swimming Lessons

The girls got to take swimming lessons last week, and they loved them! My niece, Cassie, was one of the teachers and that was fun!! Cassie's friends from the swim team were the teachers of the swimming classes that the girls were in, so that was even better! Bailey passed Level 5 and Sierra passed level 1. So we will advance one level for the next session that will start this next week.

Swimming!!!

My friend Cassie and I took our kids to the Aquatic Center to swim today. They had a blast. We stayed for 4 hours and they could have stayed for longer. I of course missed a spot on my leg and I have a red stripe down one side, but that seems to happen to me pretty much everytime. At least I apply it well to the girls, they come out upscathed. No red spots for them!!!!!!

Sierra Was Tagged by Paige

Things you should know about Sierra

1. Sierra Grace Cellan was born on November 25, 2001. She weighed exactly 7 lbs. She was welcomed home by her big sister Bailey. She is a girl who knows what she wants and lets you know exactly how it should be. She is a wonderful part of our family

2. Sierra is a Kindergartener at Sunrise Elementry. She loves school and is a great reader. She loves to go to school and is excited to be a First Grader next year when she will get to go to school all day and eat lunch at school!! The only thing she is sad about is no more Joyce's because she will get to go home after school with Bailey. She has loved going to Joyce's and has lots of friends there.
3. Sierra is a dancer. She loves to dance and gives us a preformance just about every night. This is her first year taking dance and I think it is something that will continue for a few years. She loves music and has some great dance moves to show off.

4. Sierra loves to play with her friends and asks every, single day if Darcee can come over (our little neighbor girl). They love to play babies, Barbies, and ride thier scooters in the driveway. Bailey tries to play with them, but usually gets run off. She also loves all of her cousins. Curtis will come over just to hang out with Sierra and her most favorite trip is the one to see Grandma Sue, Grandpa Tom, Aunt Brook, Uncle Matt, and escpecially Paigie and Kayla!!!!!

5. Some of Sierra's favorite things are her CD Player, Her gameboy, her sister Bailey, and any pasta or TREAT!!! She tries to be a good little sister, but at times tries to act like the big sister. She loves to spend time with the family and likes to go camping. She wants to be a mom when she gets big and would like to have lots and lots of babies (she doesn't know how much work real ones are!) We love her and Bailey so much, I don't know what we would do without them.

Bears

The girls wanted me to make them bears out of soft fabric, so Grandma Sue found us a pattern and we got the material to make them. The girls love them, Bailey's is a bear named Dot and Sierra's is a Kitty named Princess (of course). The only thing I learned about this project is to never, ever try to make something out of fake fur again. Not only does it make a huge mess, it is really hard to sew (if you look closely Princess has a crooked head!)
